Loscoe WI has over 35 members with an ongoing recruitment drive.
Mary Hicking one of our founder members celebrated her 90th birthday recently. several members went to see her and pass on our best wishes, Mary was also given a lovely basket of flowers from the members.
Apart from the monthly meetings we have a variety of outings and events. We have been to see A Mid Summer Nights Dream, by Belper Players.
Our Muder Mystery evening is nearly upon us, and we are also planning
a Christmas visit to The Dome in Buxton.
Our Summer Fayre was a great success, see our photo gallery for lots of pictures.
We also get together every February or March for our Christmas meal.
This year we went to The Thorn Tree, which is a Georges Tradition Pub.
We have a very varied programme and always have interesting speakers.
