30th Anniversary Party.
Husbands and partners came too.
October saw us celebrating 30 years of Loscoe Women's Institute.
We held a party, with 70's style clothing optional.

Another highly successful evening, with thanks to everyone involved.
Great food, lovely venue, wonderful company and a marvelous drama group.

Mystery Tour.
The ladies from Sparrowpit and District WI, Mary, Kath, Rosie, Lin and Christine.

A rather wet Wednesday afternoon saw us off on our Mystery Tour.
The rain didn't dampen our spirits although it did dampen a few members
when it came in through the open skylight in the coach.
Our driver had to stop and close the skylight before we needed to put our
umbrellas up.

Skittles Night at The Eclipse.
The winning team.
Our July meeting was held at The Eclipse Inn, Loscoe.
The evening was spent playing pub skittles,
it was great fun, with everyone joining in and having a
brilliant evening.

Our day out at Southwell Workhouse.

On the 22nd June,!6 Members and friends from Loscoe WI went to
The Workhouse at Southwell .
We had a great time, and learnt alot about life for the poor and destitute
in the 19th Century.
Southwell Workhouse is well worth a visit as you will see if

We also had some time in Southwell visiting the Minster.
Visit to Ridgeway Craft Centre and Renishaw Hall Gardens.
Renishaw Hall and Gardens.
Members and friends met at Loscoe Post Office on a rather overcast day.
We were off to the Rigeway Craft Centre where we would spend a couple of hours
before going on to Renishaw Hall gardens.

Boat Trip on the River Trent Yes, we did enjoy lunch.

The outing on the Nottingham Prince was a very sucessful one.
Sunday lunch was lovely.
