All quiet before the fun begins.
Ready for Action Anne, Beryl, Joan and Janet
The restaurant is quiet for now,
but not for much longer.
Most guests had arrived and were enjoying a drink in the bar
before being invited through to the restaurant
to take their seats.

The following photos were all taken during the first part
of the evening. No murders had yet occured, but the drama
was already unfolding as tempers among some of the guests ran high.
I will not reveal any more of the players and the plot as it could
spoil the fun for future Murder Mystery evenings.

The whole evening was a resounding success, with action taking place
between courses. Although with 73 meals and 3 courses to be served
there was a bit of a wait for some. Jo and her staff at the Warren were fantastic
and coped admirably with serving and clearing away while not interupting the drama.
Thanks must go to them all for helping make it such an enjoyable evening.

At the end of the meal there were 3 teams who had
managed to solve the murder. Well done!
We are very grateful to Jo from the Warren for
donating the extra bottle of wine needed as a prize.

This was the first time Loscoe Women's Institute had hosted
a Murder Mystery evening, but we don't think it will be the last.
Darren and his team from Belper Players were extremely
professional and a great help to us in organising the event.
Please look out for future events,
and thank you for your support.
