Mystery Tour
Loscoe WI's Mystery Tour.
On the coach. Off into the unknown, on our Glovers Coach, well the hills and dales of Derbyshire Peak District.
We left Loscoe Post Office at 1:30 and headed north.
Our only stop before tea was at the Peak Village in Rowsley where we had a chance to look
around the shops.
Our driver then took us on a tour of the area.
We went up through Hope and Castleton then retraced our journey back through Hope and
then through Bradwell.
We arrived at Sparrowpit and District Memorial Hall in the teaming rain.

Afternoon tea is served. Afternoon tea is served. Afternoon tea is served. Afternoon tea is served. Plenty to go round.
A lovely ham salad. More bread and butter? Plenty of tea. Marian and Ann.
The wonderful ladies who served us. Mary, Kath, Rosie, Lin and Christine.
These are the five lovely ladies, from Sparrowpit and District WI, who made us so welcome.
From left to right, Mary, Kath, Rosie, Lin and Christine.
It was pouring with rain as we arrived, but the hall was heated and the tea nice and hot,
The salads were all laid out ready for us and this was followed by
homemade cakes and a never ending supply of tea.
Thankyou ladies for a lovely afternoon tea.
Time to chat. Time to chat.
Beatrice, Norma, Ann and Mary get ready to leave. It has finally stopped raining. All aboard. Marian lends a helping hand.

It was a lovely afternoon out, but such a shame about the weather.
