Murder Mystery Evening

Murder, Mystery Evening at Codnor Castle Inn .

Belper Players and Loscoe WI hosted another very succesful Murder Mystery evening.
The venue was Codnor Castle Inn at Ormonde Fields Golf Club.
90 members, friends and family were seated and ready to solve the mystery as it was played out.
The start of the evening. The first course has been served. Relaxed and ready to solve the mystery. Audrey and Mary get inot the spirit of the occasion.

An evening with a difference, pens at the ready. No murder.. yet, but there has been some action. Plenty of time to chat. First course finished, are we in for some more raised voices?.
As the players acted out the scenes the audience tucked into a three course meal.
In between courses we had chance to question the players and try to work out "Who dunnit"
Smiles all round at Janet's table. Everyone is happy to be here. Four friends together. We think the catering manager, George, did it.
Oh, go on, you're pulling my leg. Serious stuff, being a super sleuth. Now lets think this through logically. Watch out behind you, she's got more wine!
Too busy with notes to notice the camera Hey! Janet's usually behind the camera. Team work to solve the murder. Waiting for the main course!
Ann and Tom The WI is not just for the ladies! Not only here for the beer.
The arguing got quite heated at times, with accusations flying and shouted retorts.
It all added to the drama of the evening.
Belper Players were brilliant, quite believable and we all felt we were part of the action.
More of the drama being played out. No murder yet, but time for some questions. Seems as though they are really having a row. Smoothing oil on troubled waters.
All ladies on table eight. having a smashing time, a night out for the girls.
Great to be out with friends. Table nine, just for the ladies. A lovely photo. Making notes.
A photo for the website please, thanks. Any ideas? No not yet. Ahh, the main course. That's better, it's not right without my hat.
Too much wine, maybe? Cheers! Two heads are better than one for solving the murder. Husbands and partners came too.
Hmm, not sure who did it. Anyone for veg. Oooh, what did you choose? Our main course hasn't arrived yet.
Keep the wine flowing. Is our main course on it's way. Hey Kath, is your glass empty? A chance to eat before the drama unfolds some more.
Our lovely young waitressess, they did a brilliant job. Hey, whats happened? are we on the Titanic. Phew, back to normal. Our cast take a bow.
Our thanks must go to George and his staff at Codnor Castle Inn, without their support the event would not have gone ahead.
We would also like to thank Darren and all at Belper Players for such a professional approach to the evening.
We look forward to working with you all again in the near future.
